Danny Terry is a youth leader, storyteller, and Christ follower whose mission is to help teens recognize the bigger story God is writing and the unique role they play in it. Through his years of service with Legacy Youth, Danny has written and taught messages that challenge culture, stir faith, and point a generation back to the truth of God’s Word.

His first book, Corny, Called, and Chosen, was born from those real moments of raw faith and honest questions—helping young people walk boldly in the good works God prepared for them long before time began (Ephesians 2:10). Whether he’s teaching, building creative projects, or launching Kingdom-minded ventures through StoryWorkHouse, Danny’s calling remains the same: to equip believers to live out the Gospel with courage and conviction.

Danny’s journey of faith began when he was just eight years old, but it wasn’t until years later—after illness, loss, and a miraculous encounter with God—that his faith became real. Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in college, he was brought to the edge of despair before God intervened and restored his health. From there, Danny’s walk took him through seasons of heartbreak, healing, and divine restoration—including the loss of his daughter, years on dialysis, and ultimately a life-saving kidney transplant in 2024. Today, Danny lives as a testimony of God’s mercy and resurrection power.

He now serves alongside his wife and ministry partner, Maria Terry, raising a new generation of leaders at home and in ministry—one teen at a time. Through his life and work, Danny continues to prove that redemption isn’t just a story we read; it’s one we live, chapter by chapter, in the hands of a faithful God.
